Layne Staley Poster

After seeing Alice In Chains at The Moore theater last week, I was inspired to dive deeper into the bands history. Having read quite a bit on Layne, I decided to make a portrait of him. I love the song “Get Born Again” and in a time for music where there is next to nothing new and good, it makes me think – if only Layne could be born again. That somehow the world could be blessed by someone with so much to offer. His story is tragic and depressing but hopefully not a loss.
